Our Story

On May 19, 2020, our 3-year-old son, Lucan was diagnosed with Pre B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Our family’s world was turned upside down in an instant. Lucan spent the next 3 years completing chemotherapy treatment at St. Jude Affiliate Clinic and Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital. During Lucan's road to recovery, we realized how fortunate we were to have the resources and support that allowed us to focus on what was most important - Lucan's health and well-being.

As a family, we are blessed to have one another and the resources to supply Lucan with toys, games, and other activities to pass time in the hospital. In return, Lucan has provided us with more strength than he will ever know.

We knew we wanted an opportunity to harness the power of his optimism and courage by helping others . This charity was formed so that we could support other families and children as they undoubtedly experience the pain and devastation that a cancer diagnosis brings. We hope that one day, ALL cancers are thing of the past. Until then, we want to do our part in giving back to a community that has given us so much.
